Mark Ditzler – Glass Artist

Mark Ditzler is a Seattle glass artist specializing in unique kiln-fired glass.  His studio produces commissions for businesses, hospitals, department stores, and private individuals nationwide.  The studio has specialized in glass vessel sinks for more than 20 years.  Other work includes fused glass wall panels, hanging atrium sculpture, glass donor walls and custom lighting.  Mark has been a regular instructor at several schools, including Pratt Fine Art Center, The Frye Art Museum, The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Penland School of Craft and The Glass Furnace in Istanbul, Turkey.  With degrees in Industrial Design and Fine Art, he has been working in glass for more than 20 years.  His art glass is featured in galleries across the country.  Recent commissions include: The Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Planned Parenthood, Goodwill Industries, Audubon Society, Colorado Commission on the Arts, Providence Medical Center, Evergreen Healthcare, Marshall Fields, Nordstrom’s, Bon Marche, and international clients.
