Care, Cleaning & Answers to Common Questions About Your Glass Sink
Thank you for considering the purchase of one of the finest and most unique Art Glass Sinks available. Please take a moment to read these care instructions.
This sink is a one-of-a-kind piece of art glass. Each sink is signed and dated by the artist. It is intended for light-duty bathroom and powder room use only.
When installing, support the sink by recessing the base into the counter top. Silicone adhesive may be used to secure it and provide a watertight seal.
The sink drain accepts standard drain hardware. Since the sink is not equipped with an overflow, use a "grid strainer" in the drain opening.
Do not overtighten the drain hardware.
Because of its generous thickness, the sink is resistant to small accidents. It will resist small objects dropped into the bowl. However, avoid contact with steel, glass or other hard objects which could scratch or chip the surface.
Never allow extremely hot water to flow into the sink. If it is too hot to the touch it could crack the glass. Never pour very hot or boiling water into a glass sink.
Use glass cleaner or a nonabrasive cleanser to avoid scouring or dulling the glass surface. Common abrasive bathroom cleanser should be avoided as it will dull the glass with time.
We recommend installing a small halogen spotlight directly above the glass sink to highlight the artistic details and beautiful luminosity of the glass.
