Designed to be a soothing visual resting place in a hospital waiting room, the murals are composed of cobalt blue fused glass tiles with a reflective backing. The texture for the glass lily pads are molded from real leaves using the pate de verre method. The wing pattern on the dragonfly was taken from a real insect and screen printed with vitreous enamel on iridized glass. The tiles are mounted to 3/4" plywood with a mounting hardware included. The modular tile design allows a mural configuration of any size.
