Designed for a hospital maternity ward, these fused glass panels are designed to be touched by expectant mothers. Each panel is composed of flame-worked glass animals, leaves or flowers. The pieces are then partially fused to the surface of a background tile to create texture and the illusion of depth, but are smooth to the touch. A combination of flame-worked and fused glass adds to the detail of the

work. The glass panels can be easily cleaned using Windex and a soft cloth, and are as durable as most materials, including ceramic tile.
